Join the Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce for a special After Hours Business Mixer event -- NVBCC Candidates’ Night on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott Tysons Corner.
Northern Virginia will choose Congressional representatives and local public officials in this year's mid-term election. NVBCC will bring together candidates and elected officials on both sides of the aisle, giving us an opportunity to meet and greet those running for office. Working together, we will let them know the Black Community is made up of small businesses, churches and voters that care deeply about our future. Register for free today!
Here's how you can help make it a success:
- Share information about the event with your friends, organizations and communities. (Download the Information Packet.)
- Sponsor Candidates' Night. Packages range from $25 to $2,500. (Download the Sponsor Packet.)
- Register and attend the event and actively participate in meeting and greeting candidates.
- Volunteer at and promote the event.
- Vote on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. (Click here for information on how to register to vote.)
Candidates and Elected Public Officials
Candidates and elected public officials are invited to attend Candidates' night to meet and speak with constituents, and to share their ideas for Northern Virginia's future. All party-affiliated and independent candidates registered with the state election commission to run for office in Northern Virginia, as well as current elected officials, are welcome.
